Aellana is a brand owned by Maison Tulip B.V.. Maison Tulip B.V. is established in the Netherlands under Dutch law. Aellana and Maison Tulip B.V. are based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

GOVERNING LAW
The use of Aellana’s products and services fall, at all times, under the jurisdiction of Dutch Law. These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services and products shall, at all times, be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. In case of a dispute, at all times (also when a product is purchased outside the Netherlands), a case needs to be submitted and conducted at the Court in the Netherlands. With purchasing our products and using our services you acknowledge and agree with all of this.

ORDERS & SHIPPING & RETURNS
Aellana sells products via/on Amazon.com. Amazon provides Aellana with their online e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products and services. Aellana orders and returns are entirely fulfilled by Amazon (FBA). Aellana is not responsible for any issues, delays, or loss during the ordering, shipping, delivery, and return process - Amazon is responsible.

Aellana takes reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy of the information included on our sites. However, we are not responsible if information made available on the sites are not accurate, complete or current. MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of our products and/or services.

FABRIC DISCLAIMER
Aellana fabrics are all natural woven fibers. You may notice nubs (a lump, or thick place in the yarn of a woven wrap that occurs commonly in the weaving process) or other cosmetic changes throughout the fabric. These accents are purely cosmetic and do not affect safety. Like all natural woven fibers, Aellana fabrics will shed some dye in its first few washes; this is normal. Note: sling colors may slightly vary from one another.

WARRANTY
Aellana guarantees all slings to be free of manufacturer defects for 1 year from the purchase date (or for 1.5 years if you have extended your warranty). This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and does not include normal wear and tear, fabric fading, fabric nubs and slubs, or damage to the sling from outside forces. Please, examine your sling upon receipt, before washing or wearing. We do not replace items where it cannot be determined whether a flaw was present when the sling arrived or whether it occurred during wash/wear.

SAFETY DISCLAIMER
The use of our ring sling is at your own risk. You are, at all times, responsible for the safety of your child. Aellana is not responsible for any injuries or death that may occur while using our products or services. Before using your sling, please read our instruction manual carefully and use common sense while using the sling. In addition, please watch our video tutorials. Ensure that you wear your sling correctly and that your baby is safe at all times. Always check your ring sling for ripped seams and fabric and damaged hardware before each use. Never use the sling if parts are missing or damaged. If you see any defects, please stop using the ring sling immediately and inform us via email: hello@aellana.com. You can find our warning statement on your ring sling, inside the pocket. Aellana slings can only be used for children weighing between 8lbs and 35lbs.

GENERAL SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS TO ABIDE BY
Please be sure to read and understand all safety recommendations and information in our instruction manual that comes with your purchase and please watch our video tutorials. Our manual can also be found on our website (click here) or can be requested via email: hello@aellana.com. Please, email us if you have any questions regarding safety: hello@aellana.com. Ensure that your baby is safe at all times. Aellana slings can be used for children weighing between 8lbs and 35lbs.

Always check your ring sling for ripped seams and fabric and damaged hardware before each use. Never use the sling if parts are missing or damaged. Ensure that your baby’s face is always above the fabric and their airways (nose and mouth) should be clear at all times. You should be able to comfortably kiss your baby’s head. The sling fabric should be tight across your baby’s back and bottom, but not so tight that it restricts your baby’s breathing. Make sure your baby’s knees are bent. Your baby’s bottom should be lower than their knees. The rings should be right below your collarbone and the fabric capped over your shoulder. Always ensure the safety of your child in the sling. Keep your baby in view at all times. Keep one hand on your baby while moving. Your baby should, at all times, feel comfortable and safe in the sling. If not, please remove your child safely from the sling and try again.

- Never use the sling if parts are missing or damaged.
- Never wear your baby facing out, reclined, or on your back. 
- Do not tighten the sling so much that your baby’s breathing could be restricted.
- Never place more than one baby in the sling carrier.
- Do not bend forward, always bend at your knees.
- Never wear a sling carrier during activities that involve intense movement.
- Do not wear a sling while engaging in activities which involve a heat source or exposure to chemicals.
- Never wear a sling carrier while driving or being a passenger in a motor vehicle.
- Never wear the sling in water.
