Why We Love Ring Slings

Ring slings are the easiest and fastest way to wear your baby. It has no buckles and you can put the sling on yourself. Ring slings are adjustable and provide great support from newborn to toddler (8lbs-35lbs). Aellana slings are made from lightweight fabrics and, therefore, more breathable and less warm than other baby carriers. You can choose to wear your baby tummy-to-tummy or on your hip which provides variety for you and your baby. When you are on the go and not wearing your sling, you can easily store the lightweight sling in your matching drawstring bag which comes with the Aellana sling. You can wash the sling by hand or in the washing machine.

Reasons to wear your baby

Benefits of Baby Wearing

Research has shown that baby wearing has many benefits. Wearing your baby on your body can result in 43% less crying of your baby which creates a more peaceful and stable environment for both you and your baby. Skin-to-skin contact causes a release in oxytocin, also called “love hormone”, which has a calming effect and it stimulates your baby’s brain pathways for approach. Wearing your baby in the sling enables you to connect physically and emotionally and it can help regulate your baby’s temperature, heart rate, and breathing.
